DRDCF is excited to announce that it is now accepting grant applications in its fall grant program until October 31, 2020, with over $40k available to charitable organizations serving the area
In addition to applying for a grant through the recently announced $40k Emergency Community Support Funding, registered charitable organizations serving people in the North Renfrew County area can now apply for grants through the Deep River and District Community Foundation (DRDCF) 2020 fall grant program. The application form is available on the Foundation’s website http://www.drdcf.ca/grants .
“The foundation’s goal is giving back to the community by connecting donors to community needs and opportunities,” says Ike Dimayuga, Chair of the DRDCF Grant Committee. “Through the support of our generous donors we have been able to provide grants that build strong and resilient places to live, work and play, and where everyone can have a chance to succeed”.
In 2019, the DRDCF provided grants to the following organizations:
Deep River Symphony Orchestra
North Renfrew Family Services
RBWM Historical Society/School House Museum
Bernadette McCann House
Deep River and Area Food Bank Pembroke Boys and Girl Club
Deep River Public Library
St. Mary’s School
Town of Laurentian Hills (McConnell Creek Bridge)
Grants are available to organizations in the Deep River and District area that provide programs and services for children and youth, health, families, poverty alleviation, community building, neighbourhood projects, arts, culture, heritage, the environment, food security, and more. The deadline to submit an application for a grant is Saturday, October 31st, 2020.
